The mission of Hope’s Door New Beginning Center is to offer intervention and prevention services to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and to provide education programs that enhance the community’s capacity to respond.
You can donate funds directly on our website by choosing to make a one-time or repeat payment on our Donate page. You may also contribute to our program by matching donations from others, honoring your past loved one with tribute donations, leaving a gift after your lifetime with planned giving, or donate items to our shelter residents.
There are countless ways that your team can volunteer for Hope’s Door New Beginning Center and our clients. You can volunteer at our Resale Store, one of our shelters, or one of our outreach centers, assisting with organization and other small tasks that make a big difference. We can also tailor a volunteer drive for organizational groups. Learn more about volunteering here, or contact Beth Leos at firstname.lastname@example.org or (972) 422-2911.
One of the best ways to prevent domestic abuse is through education. You can make a difference in your community by inviting one of our community educators to come to your classroom, office, or organization. Our team would be delighted to lead a session about family violence and prevention for your staff. Request a speaker, and we will be in touch.
Our Resale Store accepts gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories for children and adults of all genders, as well as household items and furniture. The store’s proceeds support our program, which provides support and healing to survivors of domestic abuse. We also provide a voucher to help the residents of our shelter if we don’t have the exact items they need during their stay. If you would like to help survivors in need, please donate to our Resale Store.
HDNBC proudly serves anyone impacted by domestic abuse, family violence, or teen dating abuse regardless of gender identity, ethnicity, disability, immigration status, primary language, or sexuality. Multigenerational families with kids (and adults) of all ages are supported. We can also provide safety for pets.
