What We Do

Through interactive presentations and workshops, our Community Educators promote healthy relationships and empower community members of all ages to understand, prevent and respond effectively to all forms of abuse.

WE EDUCATE.  WE TRAIN.  WE RAISE AWARENESS.

Education and Training Programs

For Teens and Students

Each year, our Community Educators visit dozens of schools and youth groups to educate teens and students on healthy relationships and teen dating abuse.

For Adults and Professionals

Each year, our Community Educators educate and train adults and professionals from a variety of community groups, government agencies and organizations on domestic abuse, teen relationships, teen dating abuse and teen online safety.

Project Hope

Once a month, by referral from the Collin County DA, we hold a special class for victims of domestic-related crimes who wish to sign an affidavit of non-prosecution.

Outreach and Awareness Programs

For Events, Fairs, Conferences and Rallies

Our Community Education Department strives to make every member of our community aware that abuse is a reality in our community, that help is available for those suffering from abuse and that all our services are free of charge.

Each year, we visit dozens of events, conferences, fairs, rallies and festivals to raise awareness about abuse and the free services that Hope’s Door New Beginning Center offers.
