What We Do

The mission of Hope’s Door New Beginning Center is to offer intervention and prevention solutions to individuals and families affected by intimate partner and family violence and to provide education programs that enhance the community’s capacity to respond.

We provide hope and healing to survivors of domestic violence and their children.

Our Four Pillars

Our organizational values of safety, healing, advocacy, and prevention reflect the core values of our mission.

Safety

Our shelter and transitional housing solutions keep survivors off the streets and safe from abusers.

Healing

Our on-staff counselors, crisis advocates, and child advocates are here to show support and listen without judgment.

Advocacy

Besides our 24-hour hotline, answered by advocates who are trained on local resources, we also have two on-staff lawyers and legal advocates who can help.

Prevention

Specialized educators train the community on abusive vs. healthy behavior, and our BIPP program teaches offenders to respect their partners.
