Donate Urgently Needed Items
Donating tangible items is a great way to support the mission of Hope’s Door New Beginning Center and help the individuals and families that we serve. Our wish lists reflect our most urgently needed items. We hold several donation drives each year to meet seasonal needs of survivors, including school supplies, Thanksgiving meals, and holiday gifts.
Your in-kind donations directly support survivors.
In-Kind Donations
Your donations of the following NEW (unused) items will go directly to our shelter residents and their children, or to support the direct solutions we offer to survivors and their children.
Clothes for Survivors and Children in Our Shelters
- New pajamas and nightgowns
- New underwear
- New T-shirts
- New sweatpants
- New elastic waist shorts
- New flip-flops, sneakers, and boots
General Shelter Needs
- New personal care products
- New cleaning products

Shelter and Housing Starter Kits
Items for our shelters can also be purchased from our shelter wish list. Items needed for survivors moving out of shelter and into a new apartment can be purchased from our housing starter kit list.
Urgent Needs List
- Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, copy paper, notebooks)
- Cleaning products (dishwashing liquid, disinfectant kitchen and bathroom cleaning sprays, antibacterial wipes, toilet bowl cleaner)
- Gas and grocery gift cards
- Linens (bath towels and washcloths, standard pillows, twin sheets, pillow and mattress protector covers)
- Hand soap
- Hair brushes
- Personal care products (deodorant, body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, disposable razors, textured hair products)
